Elaine Smith

SMITH - Mrs. Elaine M. Smith, aged 74 of Comstock Park passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband,Don, parents, Ellsworth and Gwendolyn George infant brother, Robert Elsworth and, sister, Nancy (Dave) Kisner. Surviving are her children, Bob E. Smith, Don D. (Kathy) Smith, Douglas A. (Marcie) Smith; grandchildren, Sarah (Brian) Thompson, Darell Smith, Leeann (Kurt) Moul, Artisha (Ben) Volz, Amber Kay Smith, Ashlee (Kyle) Van Dusen, Amber Renee Smith; great grandchildren, Eliana, Bryleigh, Olivia, Gavin, Mason, Payton; several nieces and nephews. Elaine retired from Holiday Inn where she was supervisor in housekeeping. After retiring, she spent her time traveling with her husband Don and cooking for unwed mothers at the Salvation Army on Fuller. She will be remembered for her love of the outdoors, camping, country music concerts and crocheting, but most of all was her love for her family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. The family will greet relatives and friends from 12:30 until 2:30 p.m. prior to the service.
