Elaine Martin

Elaine June Martin, age 72, of Grandville, passed away peacefully with her sons by her side on Monday, January 16, 2023, and now is with her Lord in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Florence Van’t Hof. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Jeff and Carolyn Martin, Dan and Molly Martin; brother, David and Mary Van’t Hof; sister, Joyce and Mike Bolthouse; and many nieces and nephews. Elaine loved spending time with her family, serving others through her church and volunteering at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Elaine also enjoyed many trips Up North with her friends and family over the years. She was very proud of her 42 year career at Adventure Credit Union and loved working with her friends at Di’s Hallmark in retirement. Her lifelong faith and trust in God was inspiring to all that knew her. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Grace Reformed Church, 3330 Burlingame Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Pastor Heather Dood officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, January 23, from 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW.
