Eileen Eardley

Eileen Marie Eardley of Wyoming passed away Friday, January 8, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas K. Eardley Jr. Eileen will be greatly missed by her children, Cynthia (Tom) Combs, Dr. Daniel P. Eardley, Debra (Bruce) Findlay, Suzanne (Robert) Gilewski, Thomas K. (Cheryl) Eardley III; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Eileen Hillebrand; many nieces and nephews. A Private interment is scheduled at Resurrection Cemetery. My daughter, Michele, and I often called Aunt Eileen when we were together. The last time we called was at Thanksgiving and we are not sure if she actually recognized our voices but we had a nice conversation and she seemed to be in good spirits. Eileen was such an important part of my early childhood. I remember the times she would load her children , Grandma Laura, and me into her car and take us to the airport to watch the planes take off and land or she would take all of us to this great restaurant on Division St. where we would get to choose a prize from a big treasure chest at the end of the meal and then there were the wonderful days at the lake. For many years, I have lived far away but she has always been close to my heart. I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Eileen. She always greeted everyone with pure happiness. She had a fashion style that was all her own and added to her specialness. She will be missed.
