​Eileen Flynn, age 104, of Wyoming, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 20, 2023. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marilyn Lawrence, Carol (Flynn) Johnson, Rosa (Joe) Macomber, Errol (Judy) Flynn; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; great great great grandchildren; and her sister, Caryl Jean DeLeeuw. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Elwin; son, James; son-in-law, Ed Lawrence. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 2 p.m. at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming, with Pastor John Macomber officiating. Burial will take place at Bowne Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, January 25, from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Grandma, you have been an such and amazing inspiritation spiritually in our lives. There are so many memories that will always be cherished. The most amazing thing that I remember though is that no matter what, just looking into your eyes all you could see was the love that you gave to each and every one of us. Even in the past month, as you were declining, I could still see the love in your eyes and how happy you were when someone came to visit you. You are now where you have longed to be in Heaven. We will miss you alot Grandma, but I know that we will see you again someday

Eileen was my neighbor at Oak Ridge senior apts for about 8 years. I would bring her my home baked cookies once in awhile and she liked that. She wanted me to stay and visit for awhile, so I did. She asked me if I was ready to meet God and oh yes I said, yes I am! She would say that is the most important thing on this earth, to believe in God and I do. I miss Eileen anyway since she moved out of her apt where she had lived for 20+ years. I kissed her forehead as she was leaving to live with her daughter. She smiled. Now Eileen is truly Home with her Savior Jesus Christ and family who have gone before. I hope to see Eileen in Heaven when my time comes. I will miss you. I will pray for her family.

My constant supporter through prayer, friendship, guidance and occasional scolding. I doubt anyone else in this world has ever or will ever root for me as much as you did. Thank you for all you have done for all of us. I would be interested to know how many people will be in Heaven because of your Godly life. I will miss you terribly. Granddaughter, Sue
