Edward Winters, age 74, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian; parents, Robert and Harrietta. Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sandi; son, Jeff (Michelle) Winters; stepchildren, Richard (Chris) Grant and Sissy (Craig) Koch; grandchildren, Hope, Mason, Garrison, Gavin, Peyton, and Brenly Winters, Brayton (Desiree), Parker, Landon Grant and Hanna Longman; sister, Nancy (Rob) Minnella; aunt, Marilyn Winters; mother-in-law, Pat Johnson. Ed enjoyed spending time with his family and a wide range of hobbies including fishing, cheering for the Spartans, shooting at the range and playing cards. Evenings were cherished with his wife, Sandi and cats, Lilly and Willy watching the latest dramas. Funeral services will be held 11am Saturday, December 4 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Paul Devries officiating. Burial at Pine Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday one hour before the service from 10-11am at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Wounded Warriors.
