RUMNEY - Mr. Edward J. Rumney aged 85 passed away Friday, March 4, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Rumney; parents, John E. and Adeline Rumney; brother, Bob Rumney. Surviving are Helene Rumney,mother of his 6 children, Bruce (Lucy) Rumney, Marilyn (Ed) Walenga, John (Marsha Pease) Rumney, Bill (Ginger) Rumney, Stephen (Teri) Rumney, Kathy Rinehart; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers, Michael (Anna) Rumney, Bruce (Nouhad) DeVries; sister, Linda Rumney-Anderson; several nieces and nephews. Ed was known as "The Pizza Man", he created Eddie's Pizza Palace in 1958 with several locations in West Michigan, he retired in 1985 after opening his last location in Florida.
