Edward Newton

Edward L. Newton, age 94, of Jenison, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 3, 2023. Ed was a kind and loving husband, dad, and grandpa who was blessed with a great sense of humor. He retired from General Motors Diesel Equipment Plant after 37 ½ years of faithful service. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 75 years, Evelyn; children, Judy and Mike Fox, Sally Brown; grandchildren, Alissa Brown, Robert Brown; great-grandchildren, Clayton, Maddie, Leroy, Taryn; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, November 10 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Dean Prentiss officiating. Burial will be held at Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 12-1 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
