Edward L. Morrissy Jr., age 54 of Wayland, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, December 25, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Marsha Morrissey. Surviving are his siblings, Leslie Morrissey, Mark Morrissey, Judy (Jim) Renberg, Don (Linette) Morrissey, Mike Morrissey, Jean Morrissey; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends. A time of visitation with his family will be Friday, December 30 from 6-8pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be given to the needs of the family.

I am very sorry to hear of Eds passing. I Morrissey family very well from when I was a kid growing up. We all had a lot if great times and memories together. Thanks Eddy for all the great memories. You will truly be missed.

This is a very difficult time for everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with all. I have a lot of great memories that Ed and I shared. My mother passed away a few years ago and she was always was asking about Ed. She had only met Ed a few times. Ed left a good impression with Mom, she had Ed on her prayer list and she prayed for him nightly. Ed is at peace from this world with no worries or pain. Ed is and will always be deeply missed.
