Remembering Edward Kuprian

Kuprian, Edward KUPRIAN: Edward Kuprian, March 24, 1937-December 17, 2011, went home to walk golden streets hand in hand and step for step with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In heaven, he joins his mother, father, two brothers, two sisters and two grandsons. He will go on in the hearts and lives of his three daughters, Nena (Bob) Kladder, Nadine (Duane) Colbath, Maryann Cole; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, all who he loved very much. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He will also never be forgotten at his home away from home, where he took his final breath, AMVETS Post 23, where he served as Commander and Chief 1981-1983 and 2000-2002, and spent volunteering for over 40 years. His memorial service will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, December 30 at AMVETS Post 23, 98 52nd Street SE, Kentwood, MI. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the AMVETS Post 23.

Pop Pop, Where do we go from here without you... Your little blonde bandit misses you and she wants you to know that she will miss you giving her chocolates and rides on your scooter. She thinks that since your foot is all better in heaven that you can play hockey there. I am not sure where she got this from? I will think of you often. In times of eating long johns, watching football, whenever I see green and white, when I see her smile and with each breath I breathe. Please tell KJ we love and miss him and dont forget to warp your wings around him for all of us down here. We love you Pops. Rest peacefully and we will see you when we get there. I never knew Eddie very well, but nonetheless im sorry he was taken so soon, but it was god's choice, not ours. the family will be in my prayers. Again, im sorry for the loss. Tiffany Hannah

Ed was a tireless worker for Amvets and their causes. We'll never forget his hot beef sandwich lunches every Thursday (a while ago). Ed will be greatly missed. Bob and Mary Decker

Hard to believe that it has been over a week since Pop Pop passed. Time goes by so quickly. Christmas was his favorite holiday. He loved all the lights, music and all the family crammed into the house. I thought I would be ok and do my best not to cry when he wasnt there this year but it was hard. I had already bought him his gift. An eagle puzzle that I still plan to put together and frame for him even if he isnt here to recieve it. He loved eagles! He had already bought his blonde bandit her gift from him and when we gave it to her and read the tag "To: My Blonde Bandit" She said, "WOW! Pop Pop must have just dropped this down here from heaven for me!" Such a sweet moment. Christmas without him will never be the same. Jessica Kladder-Garlock

Ed was a good friend of my parents , back in the day through the Amvets Post #23 . Bob Blonk and Sally Blonk were good friends of Ed's , and he will be sadly missed by all . Renee Prince
