Edna DeYoung

Edna M. DeYoung, age 94, of Allendale, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 28, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 75 years, Harold; three children, Charles (Lorie) DeYoung, Chris DeYoung, Mary (Bill) Espinoza; three grandchildren, Justin DeYoung, Morgan (Travis) Ernst, Jeremy (Leigh) Espinoza; four precious great-grandchildren, Sawyer Ernst, Laurel Ernst, Weston Ernst, and Sadie Ernst; sister-in-law, Helen VanLaar; and brother-in-law, Bob DeJonge. Edna loved her family and would do anything for them. She was especially known for her famous cookies and her talent at card making. She also loved to keep a perfect flower garden with Harold. A private graveside service and memorial will be held with close family and friends at Allendale Township Cemetery. “He will swallow up death in victory and the Lord God will wipe away all tears from our faces.” Isaiah 25:8. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Allendale Christian School.
