Remembering Edith Louise Van Wingen

Edith Louise Van Wingen, age 83, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Karen Sims, Cheryl and Michael Ritchie, Don and Anita Reeves, Ron and Colleen Reeves, Deb Reeves, Dan and Kris Reeves, Laura and Case Spiering, Steve and Sue Reeves, James and Mandy Van Wingen, Anthony Van Wingen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Helen and Al Good. Edith was a devout lover of animals, especially birds, dogs and tropical fish. She was a dietician and wonderful cook at Forest View Psychiatric Hospital for 25 years. Edith also loved white Lincolns, sweets, dancing and country music. According to her wishes, a private family service was held. Interment Reed City Cemetery. Grandma, I truly will miss you and remember our times of baking for Christmas Eve. Remember you when you used to make yourself up with make up and do your hair before going to bed. I miss our family events. But you was a beautiful woman that got to see Grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandkids. I will never forget you! Love you! Your first granddaughter 😘😘
