Edgar George Hesley

Edgar George Hesley, age 79, of Grand Rapids passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Hesley; brother Lester Hesley. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Frances Hesley; daughters, Katherine (Brian Heffernan) Hesley, Caroline (Jason Mouthaan) Hesley, Amanda (Seth) Walter; grandchildren, Gavan, Grayson, Cameron, Caleb, Carson, Alaina, Ava; brother, Richard Hesley; brother-in-law William Tonkin; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 3334 Breton Road SE, with Rev. Bri Desotell officiating. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood and an hour prior to the service at the Church on Tuesday. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St Paul’s United Methodist Church.
