Duane C. Hall, age 83, of Hudsonville, was ushered by the hands of the Holy Spirit into the loving arms of Jesus to enjoy eternal glory with the God of his Salvation on Friday, April 11, 2025. Duane was a kind and loving husband, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa who was blessed with the gift of conversation and a great sense of humor. Duane proudly served his country in the US Air Force with 22 years of service. Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, he worked as a mail carrier for the US Post Office and retired after 20 years of faithful employment. Over the years, he enjoyed photography; many beautiful memories and weddings  were captured for his family and friends to enjoy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Myrtle (Beek) Hall. Duane will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis; children, Kellie Misner (Rich Breen), Ken Hall, Michele Hall (Chris Hurd); grandchildren: Todd and Robin Veenstra, Heather Veenstra and fiancé Henry Hyde, Sarah Korn, Jason Hall, Kayla Hall, 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marilyn Neimeyer, Darlene and Harv Vander Molen, Earl and Betty Hall, Ray and Sharon Hall; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Carol and Loren Brandt, Gerald and Laverne Meyer, Barb and Gary Simmons; and many loving nieces and nephews.  A memorial service to celebrate Duane’s life will be held at 11 a.m on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Hudsonville Reformed Church, 3950 Highland Dr., Hudsonville with Rev. Scott  Van Oostendorp officiating. Burial will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Monday, April 28, from 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW and also from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hudsonville Reformed Church.
