Dr. Edwin Jay Baker

Dr. Edwin Baker, age 82, of Hudsonville, entered his heavenly home on Friday, September 3, 2021. He was preceded in death by his sister, Julia (Baker) Deppe. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Ann; children, Keith Baker, Joan (Baker) Dickey; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Connie) Baker; brother-in-law, John Deppe, Sr.; sisters-in-law, June Primus, Marcia (John) Pylman, Mary (Paul) Mitchell; and many nieces and nephews. Ed graduated from Michigan State University in 1960 and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1965. After serving in the United States Airforce, Ed established a private dental practice. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Potter’s House or Crossroads Prison Ministry. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th St. SW, Hudsonville. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
