Douglas Hoeksema

HOEKSEMA  - Mr. Douglas Hoeksema aged 69 of Belmont passed away Saturday December 10, 2011. Mr. Hoeksema was preceded in death by his parents Neal and Wilhelmina and his brother Robert. Surviving are his wife of 47 years Cheri; son, Craig Hoeksema and his children, Kaycie, Stephani "Stevi"; daughter, Michelle (Matt) Kooiman, and their children, Nicole, Cody, Samantha, Tyler; daughter, Jamie (Mark) Noeker, and their children, Kinzie, Carson, Dominick, Adelyn; three great grandchildren; sister, Alyce Ann Hoeksema; sister-in-law, Marion Hoeksema; mother-in-law, Alice VanDyke, several nieces and nephews. He enjoyed fast cars and boats. He worked in the car business his whole life. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends. Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE, Belmont. His family will greet relatives and friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
