ALLAN, Mr. Douglas Glenn Allan of Holland, MI formerly of Newport, RI passed away, Saturday, August 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, James Allan; mother, Joanna "Ann" Walaszewski and his sister, Dora Ann Scudder. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, "Betty" Elizabeth Allan; children, Ann (Tony) Simmons of Newport, RI, Teresa Kroes (Jerry Quist) of McBain, MI, Douglas Allen Jr. of Holland, MI, Amanda (Justin) Jarvie of St. Joseph, MI; grandchildren, Meghan (Josh) Herweyer, Nathan Kroes, Fawn Sullivan, Joshua Sullivan, Emily Morlock, Chase Morlock; brother, James (Patricia) Allan of Newport, RI; several nieces and nephews.
