Dorothy Riordan

Riordan - Dorothy Jane (Schaendorf) Riordan, died peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2016. She was born May 31, 1924 in New Salem, MI., to Albert and Katherine (Hiar) Schaendorf. She graduated from Creston High School and Dickinson Business School, then worked 22 years at WOOD Radio and Television, she was a receptionist and record librarian. Dorothy married James W. Riordan June, 1954. He passed away in 1995. She was a kind, thoughtful and warm hearted woman. She valued the people she loved; friendship to her was a prize. Dorothy is survived by her brother-in-law and his wife, Al and Jean Riordan, many cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2275 Diamond Ave., NE with one half hour of visitation prior to the service.
