Dorothy Potts

Dorothy Jane Potts, age 92, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Alvin Kok and Harold Kok. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Raymond Potts; children, Mary and Jim Ruissen, Ruth and John James, Elizabeth and Tim Libson, Susan Marie Potts; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, David and Virginia Kok. The family wishes to extend a heart-felt thank you to the staff of Edison Christian Life Services for the love and care shown to Dorothy during these difficult times and for being her substitute family during COVID. A private funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Eric Van Der Molen officiating. The funeral service will be live streamed and can be viewed on the funeral home website by clicking on the live streams and recordings tab. The burial will take place at Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 10-11 a.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Edison Christian Foundation.
