MATTSON - Mrs. Dorothy Mattson, aged 81 of Irons, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Arthur and Violet Colegrove. Surviving are her husband, John; children, Pat (Steve) Martin, Joyce Julien, Bob (Joann) Mattson, Chuck (Joan) Mattson, Lori Jo (Kerry) Glidden, Traci (John) Abma; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brothers, Bishop Charles (Laura) Colegrove, Herman Colegrove, Harold (Mary) Colegrove, Edwin (Sheila) Colegrove, Bishop Eugene (Leah) Colegrove; sisters, Bonnie (Richard) Haner, Mary (William) Frizzell, Ruth Edwards, Esther Anderson. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 23 at Living Hope Community Church, 2391 Hillside Dr. NW, with both Bishop Charles Colegrove and Pastor Jim Hogg officiating. Dorothy's family will greet relatives and friends 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. NE. and one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.
