Dorothy Marzean

MARZEAN - Mrs. Dorothy M. Marzean aged 85 formerly of Grand Rapids passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012. She was born June 10, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents, Albert and Iva Lull; brother, Lewis (Louise) Lull; sister, Betty (Drex) Lacouver. Surviving are her children, Susan M. Werkema, Lawrence "Larry" (Vicki) Marzean, Gary (JoAn) Marzean; grandchildren, Hilary (Jerry) Cranmore, Holly Werkema, Heather (Charles) Pratt, Tiffany and Ashly Werkema, Renee Marzean, Troy (Shonna) Marzean, Eric Johnson, Keith (Tanya) Johnson, Amanda (Jeremy) Starr; great grandchildren, John, Jameson and Joel Cranmore, Sonya, Crystal, Steven, Michael, Mackenzie and Remington Pratt, Tyler, Mikayla and Kylei Werkema, Randee and Kean Marzean, Shawn, Charlie, Nicole and Alex Johnson, Madison and Hannah Starr; several nieces and nephews. Dorothy loved hockey and was an avid Griffins and Red Wings Fan. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, August 18, 2012 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave., with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Hospice of one's choice.
