Dorothy H. (Snellink) Bryant

Dorothy Henrietta (Snellink) Bryant, age 93 of Wyoming, went gently into the arms of her Lord, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Her love for God and her love for her family was very evident in her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVern Bryant. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ardy (Jack) Ballard, John (Bonnie) Bryant, David (Patsy) Bryant, Janine (Ron) Oudbier, Marcia (Mark) Westrate, Bonnie (Jim) Kleersnyder; grandchildren, Leslie Ballard, Brian Ballard, Kim Newell, Patrena Aprozean, Julie Irwin, Scott Oudbier, Tim Oudbier, Mark Allen Westrate, Marlena Bender, Barbara Thompson, Gary Gardner, Bernice Miller, David Gardner; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister, Ruth Heubel. Funeral services for Dorothy will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at New Hope Free Methodist Church, 5665 Eastern Ave SE, Kentwood,  with Rev. Garry Cruce officiating.  Interment Rest Lawn Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4031 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, and also at the church on Friday from 10-10:45 am prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
