BALLARD - Mrs. Dorothy E. Ballard, aged 83, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, James; parents, Roy and Rose Chivis; brothers, Albert, Fred, Robert, Ruben, John and Dave Chivis; sister, Tiajuana (nee Chivis) Schoonmaker. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. A celebration of her life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, March 2 at the Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave. The family will greet relatives and friends Friday from 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service. Interment Bradley Indian Cemetery.
