Dear Ron Shelly and family, Larry and I are so sorry for your loss. Doris was a delight to everyone she met. I have great memories of being at their home and seeing her at the church. I remember the square dancing our parents did. My folks miss your mom and dad. My mom was involved with the clowns too. What a great heritage you received. Our prayers for you, Larry and Gaylene Ras Anonymous

Diane, Ron & Shelly, and family, I am saddened to learn of your mother's passing. I am flooded with wonderful memories when I think about "Aunt Dori". She was one of the most gracious ladies I have ever known. The image of her standing in Grandma Pruitt's kitchen waiting to welcome us for holiday celebrations still lives in my memory. I will ever remember the wonderful times she and your dad provided for us at Gun Lake. Her joy for living and loving life was infectious. I know she will be missed. You are in our thoughts and prayers. C.M. & Virginia C.M. & Virginia Pruitt

Doris and Ralph Pruitt were two of the first people I met when I first met, then married my husband, Kurt Bullard. His family were members of St. John's UCC and Doris and Ralph were the best example of Christ's love in action. When we had small children, Doris was always there with encouraging and loving words. When I read that she passed away "peacefully", I said "of course she did". She had that way about her all the time. God used her in special ways on earth. We do mourn her here, but rejoice that she is, as always, happy where she is now. Beth Bullard, Elkhart, IN

I am so sorry to hear this. Doris was such a wonderful lady. She was an excellent dancer and her smile lit up the room. She came and watched the Rockerettes a number of times after she moved away and everyone enjoyed her so, so much. She was one of the most caring people I ever met. She will remain in my heart always. Diane, Ron & Shelly - My family has many memories of your Mother - and everyone of them brings a smile to our faces. I remember when she was driving - she would drive over to my Dad's store for him to fix something. We would see her on Sunday mornings with her smile welcoming us - and that same smile and greeting when I would see her at Cambridge. She will be missed here - she is making people smile in Heaven now. Kathy Hutchins - Ben & Katy Hutchins
