Doris Mae Ruis

Doris Mae Ruis, age 85, of Wyoming, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2016 and went to be with her Lord and Savior. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Bernie; children, Gary Ruis, Richard and Kim Ruis, and Jim Ruis; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Ken Jeltema. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Ruis in 1982; her mother, Alice Brookhouse; her father, Henry Weemhoff; and her sister, Yvonne Jeltema. Doris was a charter member at Newhall Community Church in Wyoming. She also lived at  Vista Springs Assisted Living in Wyoming. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 11 AM at Newhall Community Church, 3746 Byron Center, Wyoming. Inurnment will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
