Doris King

Doris King, age 61, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Tuesday, April 9, 2019.  Dori loved spending time with her family and had a big heart, but her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren.  She was a gifted crafter, animal lover, and she always had a smile and a way of making friends everywhere she went.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Todd and Ashley Rich, Amber and Scott Hunter, Erica and Mike Spencer, Jacob Montney; grandchildren: Madyson, Tyler, Easton, Brett, Michael, Harper; great grandson, Bryor; brothers and sisters: Bob and Lynne Rich, Mary Blease, Dawn and John Homeniuk, Marge and James Bartosiewicz, Ron Rich, Ken and Sandy Rich, Jeannie and David Rivette, Steve and Peggy Rich, Debbie and Rick Norman; many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lois Rich.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Therese Church of Lisieux, 128 Cedar St., Wayland, MI, with Rev. Alphonse Savarimuthu officiating.  Interment Pine Hill Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, 616 E. Main St., Caledonia.  Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Mary Free Bed.
