Doris Cleora Denchfield

Doris Denchfield, age 81, of Grandville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. Doris was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and has been a resident of Grand Rapids, Michigan for most of her life. She enjoyed helping people, whether through babysitting, or dog sitting. Doris will be remembered for her collection of dolls of all kinds. She enjoyed serving the Lord, by helping at any church she was part of over the years. Doris had a kind heart, loved to care for people, treating others as her own family. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Dallas Denchfield; parents, John and Cleora Denchfield; and sister, Darlene Christians. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Roger (Shirley) Denchfield; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Jesse Meerman officiating. Private interment will take place at Forest Home Cemetery in Greenville, Michigan. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 1-2 pm, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to Georgetown Christian Fellowship. The service will be available via livestream at www.mkdfuneralhome.com.
