Donna Saagman

Donna Saagman, age 81, of Hudsonville, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Donna was a kind and loving mother and grandmother who always put others before herself. She worked at Fruit Basket Flowerland for many years and dedicated her time volunteering at Love, INC. Donna was actively involved at her Ridgewood Church community, dedicating her time serving in various ways especially with the M.M.O.R.E organization. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors tending to her beautiful gardens. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Clar; grandson, Easton Kamminga; and her sister, Kathy Evink. Donna will be lovingly remembered by her children, Diane Bosworth, Tim and Sue Saagman, Dawn and Dave Kamminga; grandchildren; Olivia Bosworth, Nick, Madi Saagman, Eli, Dylan Kamminga; siblings, Georgene and Cap Dick, Jay Brinks; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack and Arlene Borst, Fran and Trent Bergman; and many loving nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday, April 14, 2025 at Ridgewood Christian Reformed Church, 1571 Baldwin St., Jenison with Pastor Michael Ten Haken officiating. Burial will take place at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Sunday from 6-8 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Ridgewood CRC for M.M.O.R.E (Michigan Mississippi Organization for Resources and Education).
