Donna Jean Mulder, age 88, of Byron Center, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 8, 2019.  She was preceded in death by her husband James; brother, Thomas and Marilyn Moorman.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Debby and Mark Smith, Phillip and Chris Mulder, Sandi Schafer; grandchildren, Marilee Bradford, Angie Monterusso, Chris Schafer, Lee and Heather Schafer, Zachary (Crystal Goudy) Mulder; 13 great-grandchildren; 4  great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.  Donna loved serving people and volunteered for many different organizations.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Wesley Park United Methodist Church, 1150 32nd St. SW, Wyoming, with Rev. Dean Prentiss officiating.   Interment will be held at Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, Grandville, and on Friday from 10-11 a.m. at the church prior to the service.  The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff at Medilodge of Wyoming and Kindred Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired.
