My heart felt sympathy to you and your children. Donna was always a dear friend to me and many others at Spartan Stores. I just spoke to her this past week about our next dinner group get together. She will be missed by many. God bless you.

Friendly, encouraging, prayer warrior: these are the words that describe Donna. Donna’s daughter was my best friend growing up. (Later Jennifer married my brother, so I was always connected to Donna.) Donna was a true cheer-leader to everyone that she met. She always wanted to know what was happening in your life. She truly cared and listened as you shared and then left the conversation with an encouraging statement and hug. After my mom passed away, Donna made a special point to check in with me. She told me that although she could not fill my mom’s shoes in my life, she would be a mom to me. Thank you Dave, Brian and Jenn for sharing a great woman with me and so many others.

Donna was like a second mother to me while growing up and I will always cherish the time we had together. My families deepest condolences to the entire Clark family and especially to Brian, my best friend since birth. It pains me dearly to not be there for you and your family during this time of grief - but know that I am thinking of you and carry a very heavy heart.
