Donna A. Atkinson, age 91, of Comstock Park, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Atkinson; daughter, Rebecca Wagman. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Georgia Atkinson, Charles and Cindy Atkinson, John and Julie Atkinson, Jennifer and Steve Flammersfeld, Jamie and Steve Repp; 13 grandchildren, several great, and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Donna was a proud Comstock Park High School graduate. She was a loving foster parent for many years and long-time member of Second Congregational Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 11 am at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Drive NE, Belmont with Pastor Steve Armfield officiating. Burial Greenwood Cemetery, Sparta. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday, August 30 from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Green Acres of Ionia for their compassionate care of Donna. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
