Donna Alighire

ALIGHIRE- Donna G. Alighire, age 89, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013. Donna is survived by her children, Richard (Sylvia) Alighire, Rose Guillen (Daniel Vasquez) & Mary (Reuben) Lopez; 23 grandchildren; 48 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Donna was preceded by her parents; her children, Judy Alighire, Douglas Alighire, Michael Alighire, Theresa Alighire and an infant. For many years Donna worked for Azzar & Son, where owners Jimmy and Suzy Azzar took good care of her and were dear friends to her. She also volunteered at the Food Pantry at Evangelical Center and as a "Traveling Granny'. Donna enjoyed sewing and loved animals. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 101 Hall St. SE. The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday evening from 6-8 pm and Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8 pm with a Rosary prayed at 7:30 at Ronan-Vanderpool-Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Her family would like to thank Dr. Michael Bolen, for being a great doctor and taking such good care of Donna.
