Donald Van Kampen

Donald Van Kampen, age 83, of Grand Rapids, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025. He was the son of Henry and Henrietta (Bronson) Van Kampen. Donald was a truck driver for many years, working for Van Kampen Brothers Trucking, North American Van Lines and retiring from Falcon Foam out of Byron Center.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, April Van Kampen; parents, Henry and Henrietta Van Kampen; sisters, Betty Delling, Marion Glowzynski; and his brother, Henry C. Van Kampen, Jr.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Donnie Van Kampen, Art Van Kampen; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held 11 am Monday, May 5, at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood.  Burial will be held at Grandville Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday, May 4, from 3-5 pm at the funeral home.
