Donald Kramer, age 82, of Wyoming passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, and was followed shortly thereafter by his loving wife of 13 years, Barbara Kramer, age 79, also of Wyoming on July 30, 2025. 

Don proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Navy as a Boatswains Mate First Class/Special Forces, Naval Advisor. 

They were preceded in death by Don’s daughter, Sheryl Silva; and his grandson, David Silva. They will be lovingly remembered by Don’s children, Marty (Dan) VanDalsen, Don (Reyna) Kramer Jr., Jack Kramer; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; Don siblings, Sandy Kaczmarek, Joe Kramer; Barb’s sisters, Jeanne Collick, Susanne Lenard, Marian Haas; many nieces and nephews and their loving dog, Lucky. 

Memorial services will be held 11 am Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at MKD Funeral Home 4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming.  Burial will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Purple Heart Association or Disabled American Veterans.

What a shock! I met Don and Barb at Phoenix Bakery. I enjoyed talking with them. Thank you Don for your service. I know you were a proud veteran. You wore your badge’s proudly. Your car was your pride and joy, until someone hit you and totaled your car. Barb you were a special person. I enjoyed talking to you about many things. I am proud of you how you handled your health issues. So sorry you both have been taken from us before we could say goodbye. I know you both are healed from both of your sufferings. To your family I’m sorry for your loss. Enjoyed Don and Barb’s friendship. Until we see you again. God Bless.
