LANKAMP- Donald E. "Don" LanKamp, aged 70 of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday afternoon, December 23, 2016. He is survived by his fiancée, Sally Zukowski; sisters, Shirley Oom and Marcia (Tom) Boelema; niece, Michelle (Kenny) Greenop; nephew, Brandon (Calynn) Boelema; great niece Brynnlee; great nephews, Clayton and Brayden. Don will be remembered for his love of traveling. From his winters in Florida to his summers visiting Niagara Falls as well as the Traverse City area. If he wasn't traveling, he frequently could be found boating. A few of his favorite destinations were, Lake Michigan, Torch Lake and Lake Havasu in AZ. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM at West Cannon Baptist Church, 5760 Cannonsburg Rd NE. His family will greet relatives and friends Tuesday, December 27 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 1601 Post Dr. and one hour prior to the service at church on Wednesday.
