Donald L. Lubbers

Donald Lee Lubbers, age 80, of Grandville went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Joyce; children, Jeff and Ronda Lubbers, Brian and Shawn Lubbers, Aaron Lubbers; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Beatrice Martin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ruth Lubbers, Geneva Lubbers, Jennie Lubbers, Jackie Kolkman, Wilma Akkerman, Yvonne Posthuma, Henry and Patricia Posthuma; and many nieces and nephews.  Donald proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Chapel Pointe, 3350 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, 49426, with Pastor Charles Alber officiating.  Relatives and friends may meet the family on Friday from 6-9 p.m. at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the church. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society.
