Donald Knoper, age 93, of Allendale, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane VanHuizen, and son-in-law, Mike DeVries.  He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 74 years, Donna; children, Darlene (Gary) Oom, Dale (Kathy) Knoper, Debra DeVries; son-in-law, Jim (Sue) VanHuizen; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at First Allendale CRC, 5734 Country View Dr., Allendale, 49401 with Pastor Ken Kruithoff officiating. Burial will take place at Allendale Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Monday from 4-7 pm at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Allendale) 6651 Scott St. An additional hour of visitation will be held from 10-11 am at the church prior to the service.
