Donald J. Gravelyn, age 98, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2020.  He was preceded in death by a son, Gordon Gravelyn; brothers, Richard, Jay, Jimmie, Robert, and Ron Gravelyn; and half brother, Clarence Stilbert. Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years Betty; children, Shirley and David  VandenBosch, Donald and Patty Gravelyn; grandchildren, Amber, Jacob VandenBosch, Daniel Gravelyn, Josh and Ella Gravelyn; great-grandchildren,  Karter and  Madison Gravelyn; three brothers, Harry, Wallace and Gordon Gravelyn. Donald proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. According to Don’s wishes, no services will be held, and cremation has taken place.
