Donald George Riddering

Donald George Riddering, age 95, of Grand Rapids, went to be with his Lord on Friday, September 18, 2015.  He was preceded in death by his brother, James Riddering and his sister, Barbara Cook. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 71 years, Gertrude; daughter, Linda and Russell Oosse; son, Tom and Kay Riddering; grandchildren, Michael and Cathy Oosse, Pamela and Jeff Vandehoef, Doreen and Jeff Joyce, and Kathy and Kristy from Waco, Texas; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Audrey Klaversma; and many nieces and nephews. Don proudly served our country as a member of the US Army. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 2:00 PM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Tuesday from 1-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Sunset Benevolence Fund or Faith Hospice.
