Rozema, Donald E. Donald E. Rozema, age 57, of Newaygo, formerly of Jenison, passed away after a brief battle with cancer on Thursday, April 25, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Rozema. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Hayley and her mother, Dawn; fianceé, Bonnie Sheldon; mother, Evelyn Rozema; brothers and sister, Jim Rozema and Jen Lyons, Joy and Kevin VanderKolk, Rocky Rozema; nieces and nephews, Rachel VanderKolk, Vance VanderKolk, Tiffany VanderKolk. Don was a union carpenter for many years constructing bridges in the Midwest. A celebration of Don’s life will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 2 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr. SW, with Rev. James Evenhouse officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
