Donald Allen Thompson, age 52, of Grandville, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, David Thompson. He will be remembered by his mother, Donna (Elenbaas) Thompson; his brother and sister-in-law, David and Terri Thompson and their children, Chris and Samantha Thompson, Casey Thompson, and Allyssa Thompson; his uncle, Duane Elenbaas; and his aunt, Joyce Kostka. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 3 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Tanner Smith officiating. Interment Richland Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday from 1:30-3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Thanks for sharing Don with us.
He help us with starting two church's, and getting to know him and his family were great times.
I learned he had a big heart and really loved helping us.
Ill be thinking of him having a blast in heaven with his Dad.

I am sad today, I love(d) Don like he was my own brother! We shared so much together, we live life together so much... Our conversations of the Lord and Jesus were many and I know he believed. God has received him to his new home! My prayers for comfort for mom, Dave, Terri and family have gone to the Father and will continue to do so. Call me if you need anything!

Don was a very creative, sweet, and caring person. I remember the all the wonderful , fun times we had together. I miss him, and he will always be in my heart. Until I see him again, soar high - sing with the angels.
