Dolores Tilley

Dolores Dorothy (Curtis) Tilley age 82 of Delton, MI passed away peacefully on June 26, 2019 with her family at her side. Dolores was born to the late William and Dorothy Curtis on October 10, 1936 in Kalamazoo, MI. Dolores was employed by the Upjohn Pharmaceuticals for many years in the Food services Department until her retirement. Dolores married Ronald G. Tilley on September 25, 1954. During their 64 years together, she loved traveling and camping in their trailer at the Betsie River with Ron any chance they could. Dolores adored cooking for her family and friend; going to the casino up north and spending time with her children, grandchildren, siblings and friends. Dolores is survived by her husband, Ron; sister, Joan Allen; brothers, William Curtis and Ron Curtis. She is also survived by her children, Terry (Wendy) Tilley of Kalamazoo, Dot (Jim) Higdon of Delton, Barb (Doug) Livingston of Delton, Lori Coe of Grand Blanc. Her surviving grandchildren are Brandy, AJ, James, Chad, Ronnie, Bryan, Elmer, Josh, Travis, Ashton, Heather, Kaleigh and Casey; along with her 26 great grandchildren; and loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Curtis; sister, Joyce Geiger; brothers, Frank Curtis and Jerry Curtis. A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Pastor Jeff Worden at the Hickory Corners Bible Church at 13720 Kellogg School Road, Hickory Corners, MI on Saturday, July 20, 2019 with viewing from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM with a luncheon to follow located in the church hall.
