NIELSEN - Dolores Nielsen, age 88, went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 17, 2020. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard J. Apsey; her second husband, Carl Nielsen; granddaughter, Angela Apsey; son-in-law, Lawrence Piatek. Dolores is survived by her children, Ranel Piatek, James (Shawn) Apsey, Sandra (Ronald) Wheeler, Martin Apsey; step children, Ron Nielsen, Julie Nielsen, Steve Nielsen; grandchildren, Peter (Kimberly) Piatek, Jason (Lisa) Piatek, Matthew (Jammie) Gorby, Denell (Michael) Larsen, Blaine (Cammie) Gorby, James (Allison) Apsey, Emily Apsey, Renae (Sam) Gavitt; great grandchildren, Sarah, Jenna, Sydney, and Samuel Piatek, Laine and Tyson Apsey, Ava Winn, Elise, Alex, and Austin Gorby, Makenzie and Jackson Larsen, Alyssa Daws and Hannah Apsey, Grayson Louks, Rowan Gavitt. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Assumption BVM Church, 6390 Belmont Ave. NE. Dolores's family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 AM until time of Mass on Tuesday at Church.
