Diane Zoet

Diane Zoet, age 80, of Grandville, formerly of Grant/Sand Lake, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and is now reunited with her loving husband, Al, in Heaven on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, and friend, who showed love and compassion to everyone, especially her children, and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Alan; parents, John and Grace Plakmeyer; and mother-in-law, Oneita Zoet. She will be deeply missed by her children, Michelle and Dale Norquist, Dennis and Kristen Zoet; grandchildren, Grace and Ben Paige, Nathan Norquist, Cora and Will Bright, Charlie Zoet, Aynalem Zoet; three brothers, and one sister, Wayne and Jeannie Plakmeyer, Ken and Jan Plakmeyer, Denise Plakmeyer-Vliet, Phil and Laurie Plakmeyer; sisters-in-law, Jean and John Wildeboer, Judi McDonal; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Pastor Pete Byma officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Grant, MI. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Saturday from 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
