Diana Marie Weaver

August 3, 2022

Diana Marie Weaver, age 83, of Wyoming, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. She was a charter member of St. John Vianney Parish. She witnessed many sacraments at SJV for her family and was very generous with her charities. Some of her favorite pastimes were Bingo with her buddies, trips to the casino, reading romance novels, trips to Arizona to visit family, and summers at Lincoln Lake. She enjoyed a good bowl of butter pecan ice cream, fresh flowers, sewing, knitting, and creating ceramics that the family still enjoys today. She also enjoyed working at the fabric store, Revco, and Suburban 5 & 10. She worked alongside Roger, taking great pride in maintaining their yard and home. Most of all, she put her family first and enjoyed any occasion to get together with them. She loved keeping her nose in the business of her grandchildren, even using her iPad to keep tabs. She leaves behind her heartbroken husband of 63 years, Roger; children: Steve (Brenda), Mike (Irene), Cathy (Jeff) Smith, John (Gigi), David, Jenny (Pete) Lombardo; grandchildren: Sarah (Paul), Katie, Nick (Jenna), Rebecca (Chase), Matt, Emily, Andy, Amanda (Jacob), Patrick (Ericka), Joshua, Peter, Maddie, Michael; great-grandchildren: twins, Brooks and Easton, and two more on the way; siblings in Arizona: Joe, John, and Nancy (predeceased by Paula); many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Hospice of Holland for their loving care of Diana. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or contributions, in memory of Diana, please consider performing an act of kindness.

To Diana’s Family, Diana was a friend of mine in high school-CCHS 1957- and we had oh so much fun double dating especially when going to dances ! Also had some fun times at slumber parties and spending time in Grand Haven. She was a fun person to spend time with doing adventurous things. Thought about her as the class just had a 65 year Reunion. “Eternal rest grant unto her , O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed especially those from CCHS Class of 1957, through the mercy of God. Rest In Peace. Amen
