I could not write because my heart ached to know this is reality that you are up in Heaven, pain free and to now keep watch over us still on Earth. You will be missed Devin. I pray that You, Lord would wrap Your loving arms around this family as well as friends, providing them with strength and solace as they grieve. May Your presence be felt in their midst, bringing them hope and healing. Help them to find comfort in knowing that their loved one is now in Your eternal care. In your name I pray, Amen.

Reading everyone’s heartfelt posts helps to see and understand just how special Devin was. Full of compassion, laughs, and love; Devin made a great friend, big sister, daughter, cousin and more. I met Devin in 6th grade and stayed closely connected to her through high school. Throughout the years, I’ve thought about her and considered reaching out but regrettably did not. Her passing has opened my eyes to just how precious and short life can be. To Sandy and Lucas, there will never be any words to ease the pain of losing a child. Please know you are in my thoughts and I pray you can find the strength that she would want you to have. To Alanah, Vanessa, Lauren, Scott, Grandpa Ramon, Aunt Sherry & Uncle Scott - I am so sorry that you have to grieve the loss of someone so special to you. It was a true privilege to be loved by Devin & that is exactly what all of you were. May her laugh, smile & goofiness continue to brighten even your darkest days.

I met Devin through my niece Becca. I had the privilege of eating lunch with her multiple times when they were both attending GRCC. Devin was always kind, inviting, and supportive. Her smile was breathtaking. She will be missed. Praying for God’s peace to be with her family and friends.

Such a beautiful young lady, inside and out. Uncle David and I thank you for the times you have just randomly stopped over to visit over these years. You supported your cousins over the past and cheered them on when you came up to the ice arena for a couple of their games and I'm so thankful, as they always were too. You joined us for birthday celebrations from time to time and we always seemed to run into each other at Target every now and then over these years.
