Dennis Lee Geiling

Dennis L. Geiling, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. He was born March 7, 1942 to the late Alonzo and Berneice Geiling. Dennis married the former Bonnie Radcliff and celebrated over 48 years of marriage before she predeceased him June 23, 2014. Dennis worked for American Seating for many years and later worked for Steelcase and General Motors. He served in the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was an avid outdoorsmen where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and bowling. Dennis was a die hard Michigan Wolverine Fan. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Michele (Kevin) Gentry, Michael (Jody) Geiling; grandchildren, Alison Gentry, David Rosier Jr.; a great-grandson, Cooper Rosier; sister-in-law, Elaine Caniff; brother-in-law, Dale Radcliff; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24 at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home, 4646 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Kentwood, with Rev. Don VanSlyke officiating. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. There will be military honors following the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer Foundation.
