Dennis A. Hill, age 69, of Hudsonville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 27, 2018. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Pam; children: Amy and Matt Vissers, Brian and Karla Hill, Tim and Brittany Hill, Megan and Brett Bodeis; grandchildren, Braydon, Logan, Tyler, Kenyon, Alister, Sophia, Joshua, and one granddaughter on the way; sister, Diane Rauh of Avilla, IN; brother, Jim and Denise Hill of Auburn, IN; mother-in-law, Ruth (Lash) Marti of Mattoon, IL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Craig and Cheryl Marti of Nashville, TN, Tim and Cheryl Adams of Mattoon, IL. A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Chapel Pointe, 3350 Baldwin St., Hudsonville, MI. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Love INC, Alpha Grand Rapids, or the Chapel Pointe More Campaign.

I’m so sorry for your loss. This is one of life’s greatest challenges
that we have to face. Jesus said ,did and promised something that gives us comfort
and hope. In the Bible at John 11:11-14 Jesus liken death to sleep. This comfort us
in two ways: 1) we are assured by those words that our loved ones are not
suffering or in pain. 2) If a person is just sleeping he will wake up! Notice what
Jesus does next at John 11:43-44, this is amazing! Jesus promised us something
similar at John 5:28,29 what a beautiful hope we have! If you would like to know

Pam and family. I am so sorry for the loss of Dennis. He was my best buddy growing up in elementary school and even later when we worked together at Krogers. He will be missed. My prayers are with you.

Dear Pam and family,
Don't know if you remember me but we were your neighbors for about 10 years in Jenison on Falcon Drive. I am so sad for your loss and I hope the family is doing well under the circumstances. I hope he didn't suffer very much before his passing. I always enjoyed my conversations with Dennis when we had time to talk about whatever was happening. I Liked being his neighbor and miss the old days.

As a maintenance electrician I worked with and for Denny for several years at File Plant At Steelcase. He was not only well-liked but also well-respected. As a facilities engineer he had the rare combination of intelligence, knowledge and common sense which made it a delight to take on projects with him. All the people who had the pleasure of knowing him will miss him.

Our very sincere condolences to Pam, Amy, Brian, Tim, and Megan on learning of Denny's passing!! I have so many fond childhood memories of the years that we shared as best of friends and classmates - growing up on Mott and Clark Streets in K'ville!! Denny also served as my best man at our wedding many year ago at St Mary's in Avilla!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Pam, during this time of your loss!! God Bless!!

To my sister, nephews and neices, Roley and I are so very sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of your Dad.
