Denia Cabrera

Denia Cabrera, age 96, of Wyoming, passed away peacefully, to be with her Lord on Monday, January 4, 2021. Denia and her family came to the United States from Cuba in 1963. Denia enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She had a great love for her God, her church, and loved to read her Bible. She excelled as a seamstress. Denia was preceded in death by her husband, Carmelo; parents, Pedro and Francisca Martinez; and her brother, Juan Perez. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Jose and Myra Otero, Lilia and Richard Morgan, Miriam Cabrera and Lee Deleeuw; grandchildren, Alex, Miguel, Bryant, Stephanie, Martel; multiple great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Cosme and Onelia Cabera; and many loved nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021, 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville), 4145 Chicago Dr SW, with Rev. Carlos Tapanes officiating. The service will be available via livestream at www.mkdfuneralhome.com. Burial Woodlawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
