Dena Vander Hart

  Dena Vander Hart, age 90, of Grandville, dear mother and grandmother, went peacefully home to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcelus “Mart” Vander Hart and her sister, Marie Ruissen. She will be lovingly remember by her children, John and Rene’ Vander Hart, Jake and Launi Vander Hart, Joan and Steve Diekema, Fran and Steve Karsten, Marilyn Vander Haar, Mary and Rob Kwekel; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Joanne and Kaas DeKort, Johannes and Adrean Vande Vreede; sisters-in-law, Mattje Van Dalen, Jacoba and Adrian Moerdyk, Adrian and Corrie Vander Hart; brother-in-law, Jan and Lene Vander Hart; nieces, nephews, cousins; and special cousin, Jane Bamberg. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brookcrest and Faith Hospice for the wonderful care given to Dena. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 11:00 AM at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive SW with Dr. Joel R. Beeke officiating. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 4-8 PM and Tuesday from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Plymouth Christian Schools or Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.
