Delores “Aunt Lou” Veenboer, age 92, formerly of Comstock Park, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Melvin, in 2018. Their marriage was a living example to everyone of how a husband and wife should love one another. Although they never had children of their own, Mel and Lou became parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents to the many nieces and nephews in the family. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 11 am at Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Dr. SW with Rev. Ralph Robrahn officiating. Burial Fairplains Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family from 10-10:45 am at the funeral home prior to the service.
